Standoff at the salt lick!

The standoff lasted about 10 minutes until Rica lost interest. No matter how much barking she couldn't get the doe to stay away.

Rica loves Idaho and all the room to run. She likes to chase the deer. She learned that fallen trees can make it easier to get around.

Last year we never saw a wild turkey. This year this old gal shows up fairly often. She has a nest with over 10 eggs in it about 200 feet south of the house.
